Bloor Street Entertains is a spectacular black tie evening. The Bloor/Yorkville area’s high-end retail and fashion stores, luxury car dealerships, galleries, and museums are transformed into elegant dining rooms, hosting intimate dinners for more than 800 people prepared by the city’s most luminary chefs. A party at the ROM follows, featuring sophisticated entertainment, vignettes, and a silent auction featuring rare and exotic luxury items. Proceeds benefit the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR).

Winemaker's Dinner with Alvaro Palacios

As a winemaker Alvaro Palacios embodies the promise and spirit of "The New Spain". His wines have won him cult status and are highly respected by the wine press, and his L'Ermita is widely considered to be the most important Spanish wine in a generation. Cava chef Chris McDonald is known for his artisanal culinary craftsmanship. His inventive interpretation of rustic modern dining with a Spanish influence will be an ideal match for the wines. This will be an informal evening with an emphasis on the symbiosis between good food, good wine and good company. $15 from each ticket will be donated to the charity Grapes for Humanity.
