Here's some food for though for today...
- What we can tell from watching the Julie & Julia trailer; Meryl Streep rocks the world and half of the movie will be amazing. Amy Adams does a decent job playing the annoying author of the book, but as with the book, those sections make me want to jam a fork in my forehead. Should be interesting.
- Lobster tails, going cheap - thieves stole 71,000 pounds of lobster tails (worth over $1 million US) from a Miami-area seafood business.
- Mac & cheese straight from the pot? Pizza over the sink? What we eat when we're alone.
- Giant companies with an interest in selling people genetically-modified seeds say heirloom tomatoes (you know, the ones where people have been saving the seeds every year for centuries) are yukky. Colour me surprised.
- Moon over Parma - nothing compares to the magnificent Italian cured ham.
- What to do with food left over from catered events.
- And finally, the grape spoon is placed perpendicular to the bread screw... when place settings overwhelm.
