Here's some food for thought for today...
- The cupcake backlash backlash. Perhaps it's time to stop being so worried about cupcakes and brush up on your vocabulary.
- Cheese, chicken wings and vitamins - now that's a balanced diet.
- Eating seasonally isn't just about what comes from the ground, it's also about finding the perfect food and drink to match the weather and the mood.
- Restaurant staff share a code of ethics that requires them to make it in to work, no matter what - but do diners really want a cook or server who is coughing and hacking?
- Posted serving sizes rarely relate to the amount that people actually eat.
- The US peanut butter recall hits Canada in the form of peanut butter cookies.
- And finally, fans of deformed food will love the not-so-mini wheat.

Seriously? Restaurant workers are expected to work even if they're highly contagious? That's so gross. Makes me think twice about dining anywhere during the winter months.
