Here's some food for through for today...
- Canadians are eating less pre-packaged meat since the listeria outbreak.
- China is set to become the world's leading producer of wine within 50 years.
- Diabetic? Eat your pasta - a low glycemic diet - including nuts, lentils and pasta, helps lower blood sugar levels.
- I'm sceptical about the UK's paranoia of childhood obesity, but advertisements for junk food aimed at kids could probably go with no real complaint from anyone.
- Don't tell the people at CAMRA - but wine is favoured by drinkers in the UK over beer.
- But in Chicago, they're drinking more beer and enjoying it warm.
- Didn't we already know this? - women are better tasters while men have more adventurous palates.
- And finally, who says Christmas cards are a waste of paper? Not if you make then from edible potato starch, then you can just add them to Christmas dinner.
