Here's what Toronto food bloggers are chewing on this week...
- Andrea the Gastronaut - Andrea is disturbed by "tofucken".
- Beer, Beats and Bites - Getcher hands off my Creme Brulee. Greg reviews some beers from Southern Tier.
- Confessions of a Cardamom Addict - there's cranapple muffins for breakfast at Jasmine's house.
- Dana McCauley - Dana's got pie crust tips and tricks.
- Hamburger - the Burgermeisters find love at the Drake Hotel.
- Jumbo Empanadas - Brilynn has her own backyard pizza oven - and she knows how to use it!
- Lord of the Wings - Turkey wings - bigger and better.
- Porkosity - Corey joins the legion of food writers who get cranky letters from people wanting him to take up their cause against a particular restaurant, usually because they've had bad service.
- Save Your Fork - I learn all about almonds at a recent baking event.
- Seven Spoons - Tara creates a whole new peanut butter cookie based on a childhood memory.
- What Smells So Good? - That would be candied chestnut Christmas cake. Swoon.

I know you get these emails too, Sheryl. And often you sympathize with these people. But sometimes they're just so petty that they're hilarious.
Corey - Loved the post.
And, agreed wholeheartedly. I often wonder what people expect us to actually *do*. Show up in our food writer superhero outfits and use our magical powers to destroy a publican for serving a beer with too much head or tackle a fry cook for the sin of undercooked frites? Or use our respective forums to alert the world to the travesty of service that is restaurant X? That's a titch vindictive. But then angry people don't often think straight. If only they knew of the number of bad restaurants we all had to deal with in the course of a regular work day. :)
