Here's some food for thought for today...
- Mmmm... nothing says yummy like a meat recall.
- Turns out the global food crisis is all the fault of Prince Charles, because he spends all his time promoting organics and not those healthy, tasty, world-hunger-solving GM foods.
- Poverty food is tasty food - Brits get thrifty and make the most of snout-to-tail cooking.
- Pop, coffee, chocolate bars... and eggs. Those Japanese will put just about anything into a vending machine.
- Remember when cupcakes were all about childhood memories and happiness? Lawyer up people, the frosting is starting to fly.
- Food enters the academic mainstream with universities offering courses in food culture and eco-gastronomy.
- And finally, while a wedding cake made of sushi is a novel idea, it is recommended that the bridesmaids don't follow tradition and slip a piece under their pillow.
