Here's some food for thought for today...
- High fructose corn syrup is TOO natural! The corn refiners say so!
- Organic produce is not healthier from a nutritional standpoint - this is not news, exactly, it's been well-known for a few years - but it's still worth sourcing organics to avoid pesticides.
- And sales of organic packaged/prepared foods (aka. junk food) are on the decline.
- Turns out the French do get fat, and the government there is considering taxing some "unhealthy" foods. No word on whether these will include classic French ingredients like high-fat cheese, fois gras or wine.
- Does falling in love with a meat-eater cause vegetarians to fall off the wagon?
