Here's some food for thought for today...
- Suresh from Spotlight Toronto offers a recap of the Bowman's Ball at the Beer Festival last night. Many of the things that were high-lights for him didn't even register for me (well, the volleyball was just annoying) because - OMG - the English Beat performed live. There was beer there? Pffft! There was Dave Wakeling, still sounding brilliant, that's what I'm talking about.
- Turns out Maria from The Sound of Music had it right. Thinking about a favourite food can lower our sensitivity to pain.
- Baked goods are cool again. Not baking stuff yourself, mind, but buying treats at upscale bake shops.
- Fried Mars bars? Those are for amateurs. Check out this list of 25 awesome foods you never knew could be deep-fried.
