We've got some new additions to the wide, wide world of web this week as we work on revamping our round-up posts to be more frequent but also more succinct.
NOW is first up with their new daily blog where Steven Davey reports on the re-opening of Susur under a different name and with a new head chef. As someone on Chowhound noted - if Susur doesn't really go away, how can we miss him??
At Posted Toronto, Brianna Goldberg has a piece on the support by Joe Milhevic for backyard chickens, and Rob Roberts experiences "chicken" in a whole new way as cute girls in lettuce leaves attract a crowd when KFC unveils its new faux-chicken sandwich.
Adam Chaleff-Freudenthaller from Spacing Wire wonders why the Queen Street market isn't really a market but instead is home to a bunch of take-out restaurants.
At the Canadian Living blog, Christine Picheca looks at the marvellous Saskatoon berry, while Eric Vellend of Menumental reviews Lil Baci.
Mehreen from Spotlight Toronto checks out the Taste of Thailand festival, and the Drinks Show this past weekend, as well as some Summerlicious restaurants.
And despite a previous BlogTO round-up of health food stores where the writer dismissed Multiple Organics in the comments, Tim from BlogTO has a write up of the place this week. There's also pieces on Kim Moon Bakery, and Atelier Thuet.
Noelle Munaretto sharps up her knife knowledge at Gremolata, while Ivy Knight has a lot to say (no, seriously, go get a snack because this is a long read) about Taras Grescoe's book Bottomfeeder.
