A quiet week on the intarwebs these past seven days. Just a few articles for perusal today...
At BlogTO, Susan has a review of Pachira, and Paul sings the praises of Craftburger.
Eric Vellend of Menumental comes to the defence of the much-maligned white mushroom, with seven recipes that put them to good use.
At Gremolata, they're all about Montreal this week, with Carlos Fuenmayor's article about Montreal's Latino connection, and Malcolm Jolley's notes from the Montreal Highlights Festival.
James Chatto of Toronto Life adds 4 "also-rans" to his recent Top 10 restaurant list, while David Lawrason profiles Osoyoos-Larose, a Franco-Canadian joint venture in the Okanagan.
I walk past Grunt, Cluck, and Low several times a week to get bread, but the name and location put me off. Sounded like a frat boy hangout. V sleepy at lunch but at night it's packed.
Sandwich was very good. My only regret was the dessert. (Waitress was v pretty so I said yes when I should have passed.) It was heavier than the sandwich and cost more.
