It's hard to believe that we're just a week away from the beginning of spring, especially with the everlasting snowbanks that are piled up everywhere. Winter be damned, there are a couple of things happening this weekend to help us get into the mood for the warmer days ahead.
For those with a green thumb, the Toronto Community Garden Network is presenting their annual Seedy Saturday event at Scadding Court Community Centre, where gardeners will be gathering to sell and trade seeds, including lots of rare heirloom varieties. And if you're the type to prefers others to grow your food, there's always the monthly Farmer Meet & Greet Saturday up at Fiesta Farms, this month featuring producers from Verified Eggs, Norfolk Fruit Growers Association & Pfennings Organics.
