Rag Round-Up - Thursday, November 29th

You’d almost think it was picnic season in Toronto this week, with both entertainment weeklies focusing on either burgers or hot dogs.
At Eye, sausage afficionado Corey Mintz embraces his inner Buddha at Buddha Dog, and reaffirms what we knew all along - these dogs are tasty but teeny.
Over at NOW, they’re all about the burgers with Steven Davey hitting newly opened Craft Burger, and comparing it to its pseudo-predecessor The Burger Shoppe. We just hope the Craft name doesn’t violate international copyright - wouldn’t want chef Tom Colicchio to file a lawsuit. And Graham Duncan checks out burgers and dogs in his review of Groucho’s, as well as what wine goes with burgers in his Drink Up column.
Billy Munnelly of Metro looks at the reasons why locals don’t buy Ontario wine, and there’s an accompanying piece on some Ontario wine suggestions. And Metro says goodbye to Aonghus Kealy this week (he’s off to Ireland for a year) with a glass of Mill Street barley wine.
Also in Metro, Sandy Caetano previews the Whole Life Expo, Marcy Cornblum talks breakfast with comic Gavin Stephens, and Rick McGinnis checks out Tibet Kitchen.

Hi, Sheryl. Thanks for your writeups on Metro’s food coverage, and for putting some focus back on the press.
