Look out! The bloggers are baking! Okay, some of them really like baking a lot anyway, but at this time of year, for lots of us, the baking goes into overdrive. At Blog From Our Kitchen, Elizabeth reworks a recipe from Saveur for Pumpkin Cake Roll to make it less sweet, and at Jumbo Empanadas, Brilynn has some of my favourite Jewel Cookies. Over at Do You Know the Muffin Man? where Eric can usually be counted on for some tasty baked goods, the feature this week is actually chocolates. Meanwhile, Candy at Dessert By Candy has info about a holiday cookie fundraiser that the non-baking inclined can take part in by buying some tasty cookies.

Also this week, Meena at Hooked on Heat interviews cookbook author Erin Ergenbright, and k-chan of I Can't Believe I'm Back in Toronto reviews dinner at beerbistro. Ian at the Galumphing Gourmand cooks up a whole lotta meat, I have shrimp flashbacks at Save Your Fork, and Cathy at The Nutritionista demonstrates how to cut a bell pepper.
