Here's our favourite Toronto food blog posts of the past week...
At Blog From Our Kitchen Elizabeth has a wonderful piece on the delight that is Pasaquale Brothers in Etobicoke. This amazing food store used to be located downtown and was a favourite stomping ground of George Brown Hospitality students. Now it's bringing joy to west end folks who find the selection great and the prices more than reasonable.
Ivonne at Cream Puffs in Venice celebrates World Bread Day and describes the joy she finds in baking up a tasty loaf. And since nothing goes better with bread than soup, Robert at Pots and Pans cooks up some very retro-looking green soup out of asparagus, cilantro, spinach and other good things.
Over at Do You Know the Muffin Man? Eric celebrates the season with a pie full of apples and cranberries. And Brilynn of Jumbo Empanadas eschews the pie crust and puts her apples in ice cream, along with a healthy does of booze. Aw man, that sounds awesome.
And finally, Sands at All Things Dolce says what everyone at Disney HAD to have been thinking but just didn't have the guts to say out loud; "Cooking With Pooh" has got to be the worst cookbook title ever.
