Wow… just wow… BeerFest is $30 bucks to enter… Unbelievable. 3 years ago there was one by St. Lawrence market, it was just $1 samples and it was great.
This is the 4th time I’m passing because the price is just stupid. $60 bucks for 2 people? Ha! I’ll go to C’est What, play pool for 2 hours, drink, eat and it will cost us less.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the ticket price, Alex. Fri & Sun were only $20 in advance, but still…
Of course, that St. Lawrence festival was a bit of an anomaly. It’s rare to find a beer festival that has no entry fee and just charges for samples. Too bad it only lasted for a couple of years.
Then again, the Golden Tap Awards at beerbistro next Saturday is doing exactly that - no admission cost, you just buy tokens for beer & food samples. And it’ll be all Ontario craft beers. So that’s a good option for those who don’t want to drop the big bucks on Fort York.
