The Wide, Wide World of Web – Monday, June 25th

webapple.jpgCatherine Jheon of Beyond Burgers looks at the new seasonal and local menu being featured at Il Fornello. Over at Eye, Rob Duffy visits the Duke of Gloucester only to realize the regular crew of soccer hooligans are actually at the game. At Toronto Life, David Lawrason features some Alsace wines.

Torontoist has a Summerlicious preview, and as expected, the hot ticket in town is the soon-to-be closed Mildred Pierce. They're also excited about the fact that Kensington Market Organic Ice Cream has relocated to just off Queen Street West. Does that make the name "Queen West Organic Ice Cream" now??

There's still weirdness at BlogTO, where the links to their restaurant reviews go all over the place. Chris reviews Pita Village, but the link on the site actually goes to a review of a burrito place. Photos look good, though. Debbie's review of Patisserie La Cigogne actually goes where it's supposed to - yummy! And Tim reviews Burrito Fresh.
