webapple.jpgGood news for carb-cravers! BlogUT points out that you can buy those warm, delicious loaves of bread directly from Silverstein’s bakery on McCaul Street. The onsite retail shop is open until 6pm, which would never have been helpful on those nights when I used to wander by in a drunken haze at 2am, but still. There’s nothing like hot bread!

Over at Torontoist they’ve got a guide to this past weekend’s Santé festival in Yorkville with a mini-guide of other cool places to check out. There’s also an article about a variety of local & organic farmer’s markets.

Suresh at Spotlight Toronto hits the media opening of Indus Junction, Chris Jai Centeno of Eye reviews the Comrade, and Catherine Jheon of Beyond Burgers makes it over to our neck of the woods to check out the weekend brunch at A Touch of Convenience.

At Toronto Life, James Chatto offers a bittersweet epitaph to Prince Edward County chef Willa Fida who passed away recently.

And finally, The Healthy Greek gets a glowing review at BlogTO.
